| Frederic
E. Toms
is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill.
His
practice experience includes representing injured people in
and out of court against insurance companies. Currently his
practice is almost entirely civil trial work, primarily bodily
injury litigation. He also has an active practice representing
financial institutions and other creditors. On a limited basis
Mr. Toms continues to write wills and administer estates.
Mr.
Toms is married to Pam Senn Toms. He has two daughters, Merritt
Toms Tracy of Charlotte and Cynthia Toms of Washington, DC.
Mr. Toms began practicing with a small law firm in Fayetteville
in 1970. He later was offered a position with a private law
practice in Raleigh where he practiced for 6 years and then
opened an office in Cary with Bill Dawkins and Tom Beebe in
January, 1978. For the past 9 years he has been sole owner
of Frederic E. Toms & Associates, P.L.L.C. and has now
practiced law for over 31 years.
